We've tried to arrange the information so that you can easily find surgeons and dentists in the countries you are interested in and compare them against each other.

We also try and help people in countries where help with healthcare is most needed. We donate a percentage of any money we make to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an independent international medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid in more than 60 countries to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural or man-made disasters or exclusion from healthcare.

In emergencies and their aftermath, MSF rehabilitates and runs hospitals and clinics, performs surgery, battles epidemics, carries out vaccination campaigns, operates feeding centres for malnourished children and offers mental health care. When needed, MSF also constructs wells, dispenses clean drinking water, and provides shelter materials like blankets and plastic sheeting.

Through longer-term programs, MSF treats patients with infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, sleeping sickness and HIV/AIDS and provides medical and psychological care to marginalized groups such as street children.

Founded by surgeons and journalists in 1971, MSF is now a worldwide movement with sections (offices) in 19 countries and an international coordination office in Geneva, Switzerland. The work of MSF is carried out by over 25,000 health professionals, logistics experts and administrative staff who run projects in approximately 65 countries around the world.

4. 'Warts and all'

We believe in full disclosure of information. That's why we encourage you to write reviews about surgeons and dentists you found on MedicalExplorer.com and have had treatment with. We then publish those reviews, good and bad, and hopefully provide some insight to potential patients.

We strive to provide you with as much information as we can about surgeons and dentists worldwide. We always try and make sure this information is accurate and up to date but we can't guarantee that it's 100% accurate all the time. Unfortunately, some details change and sometimes it takes a day or two for doctors or dentists to let us know.

5. Impartiality

We are 100% impartial and do not give preferential treatment to any of the healthcare providers who appear on our site. We will not try and persuade you to have treatment and we will never make any recommendations to you regarding your health. We don't mind which country you choose to visit or which surgeon or dentist you choose to help you. We're just here to present you with options that might suit you and hopefully save you lots of time and energy in your search for the best medical treatment.
